In the Beginning....

The purpose of this blog is to document and share my journey to finding my roots. I'll be researching my family tree and posting the results. This won't be a chronological view of my journey but rather a posting of my results. I intend to post the data and stories I find so that any member of my family can use this information to better understand where we all come from. It will be arranged by family name. For example, I'll start by concentrating on the Stevens & Coakleys, which were my father's parents and the Tennants and Wrights, which were my mother's parents. These will be the four categories at first. I'll consider adding more later as I get further "down the rabbit hole." I don't promise to post at any specific intervals but will post as I discover new information.
